CRW Resources LLC is looking to fill 105 Forestry Worker positions Work site(s): Begin; Patrick, Chesterfield County, SC 29584 @ $13.04/hr. Provided daily transportation to and from the worksite. Continue into States of GA, MD, NC, SC, VA, WV. This is a temporary, full-time seasonal position from 10/01/2018 to 6/30/2019. Duties: sowing seed; lifting seedlings from nursery beds, placing shading materials beside seedlings, netting or tubing (placing small plastic tubes over seedlings); mulching (placing mulching materials around seedlings), post-planting hand scalping (removing excessive vegetation around seedlings); applying repellent or fertilizer to seedlings; gopher baiting, and collecting fallen cones or scion. May include: propagating, protecting, managing forest tracts, using hand tools to perform such activities as preparing sites for planting, thinning, tending crop trees, reduce competing vegetation, removing brush, planting seedlings & trees, gathering forest products & other related Forestry Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org). Requirements: Must be 18 due to travel. Must show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Must walk substantially (up to 15 miles/day), also stoop, bend while carrying a pack (up to 50lbs) thru rough terrain (non-trail). Must have 3 months Commercial Brushsaw/Chainsaw exp. No min. edu. reqmt. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.

Terms & Conditions of Employment: $10.12/hr up to possible $18.48/hr OT $15.18/hr up to possible $27.72/hr. Wage may vary. DOE. Possible daily/weekly hours: 7:00AM-3:00PM. 40+ (plus) to include lunch break M-F. The wage(s) offered equal(s) or exceed(s) the highest of the prevailing wage or the Federal, State, or local minimum wage. Possible weekend/holiday work. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/or OT. OT not required. This employer will also comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws pertaining to overtime hours. H&W benefits may apply. Piece rate may apply. Transportation: Transportation and subsistence will be provided for cost from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $12.07 per day during travel to a maximum of $51 per day with receipts. 3/4s Guarantee: The worker is guaranteed employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period. Tools, equipment & supplies: All work will be done with employer provided tools, supplies and equipment without charge or deposit. Miscellaneous: Will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Wage paid every two weeks. All deductions required by law will be done by the employer. Optional housing available at no cost. Will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (not including passport).
