Deberes Laborales:

Responsible for performing welding functions for structural applications. Utilize hand welding equipment, primarily for FCAW (flux core arc welding). Check and repair leaks in cable, hoses, and connections. Set up and operate rosebud and torch to preheat or spot weld fabricated metal products as specified by blueprints, job specifications,or welding procedures. Responsible for adjusting valves, gauges, and flames and safely handling compressed gas and oxygen cylinders. Set up, troubleshoot, and operate welding machines according to job specifications and welding procedures. Operate air arc gouger, grinder, stress relieving machine, and other industry machines,tools, and equipment. Identify and use shielding gases, welding wire, and welding symbols. Make welding repairs on substandard welds. Adhere and comply with all company and OSHA safety rules and guidelines.

Requisitos Especiales:

Minimum Requirements:2 years experience in structural welding. Must be able to pass a written and practical welding test (including visual, radiography volumetric NDT, and bend inspection). Persons holding this position must have the ability to perform basic welding functions and processes including FCAW (flux core arc welding). Must be able to lift and/or move a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be willing and able to climb and work in high places that may exceed 200 feet in height, and in confined spaces. Employer will offer at least 40 hours of work per week, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or Monday to Friday 5:30 PM to 3:00 AM, with overtime for weekdays and weekend (overtime hours may vary).
